Frequently asked questions.

1. What is Project X-T3?

Project X-T3 is a photography and videography service built from a lifetime of shooting, learning, and storytelling. The name was inspired by the Fujifilm X-T3—one of the cameras that pushed me to take my passion seriously—but the heart of the business is people. I create imagery with intention, emotion, and a commitment to helping clients bring their ideas to life.

2. Why did you start Project X-T3?

Friends, clients, and strangers kept responding to my work in a way that made me realize I could turn what I love into something meaningful for others. Photography gives me a way to serve people and build the life I want at the same time. This business exists because I love the craft, I love the people I work with, and I want to make their visions a reality.

3. Do you shoot weddings and elopements?

Yes. Weddings and elopements are a major part of Project X-T3. I focus on capturing genuine emotion, candid storytelling, and the cinematic moments that make your day unforgettable. Whether it’s a large celebration or an intimate elopement, I tailor the approach to your energy and vision.

4. Why do you use Fujifilm exclusively?

I’m loyal to Fujifilm because their system matches the way I see the world. Their color science, ergonomics, and overall philosophy support the cinematic and emotional style I aim for. I’m also on the path toward becoming a Fujifilm ambassador, but the loyalty came first—because their tools genuinely help me create better work for my clients.

5. What types of sessions do you offer?

I offer:

  • Portraits

  • Lifestyle sessions

  • Creative/editorial shoots

  • Brand content

  • Documentary-style shoots

  • Weddings and elopements

  • Short-form video and creative cinematics

If your idea falls outside the usual categories, I can build a custom session around it.

6. How many photos will I receive?

Delivery ranges vary based on the type of session:

  • 10–20+ images

  • 25–40+ images

  • 50+ images

Weddings and elopements typically deliver significantly more, depending on the coverage you choose.

7. How fast is your turnaround time?

Turnaround varies throughout the year based on demand and the complexity of the shoot. I always strive to deliver as quickly as possible.

I also offer same-day turnaround for photos when requested and when the project allows.

8. Do you edit the photos?

Yes. All images are professionally edited with the Project X-T3 style—cinematic, emotional, intentional, and true to the story we’re creating. I don’t rely on heavy manipulation or trendy filters; the goal is timeless, honest imagery.

9. Can I request a specific editing style?

You can request a mood, a tone, or a general vibe. I’m open to collaboration, but the final look will stay consistent with the Project X-T3 aesthetic, which is what clients come to me for.

10. What should I wear to a session?

Neutrals, earthy tones, and simple patterns usually photograph best. Avoid neon colors, very busy prints, or reflective fabrics. If you’re unsure, I can help you plan an outfit that fits the mood of your session.

11. Do you shoot both photo and video?

Yes. I offer short-form cinematics, creative storytelling videos, and additional video coverage for weddings, elopements, and studio sessions.

12. Do you travel for shoots?

Yes. Local travel is included. Destination shoots, weddings, and elopements are available with custom travel fees. Just tell me where your vision takes you.

13. How do I book a session?

The best way to book is through the contact form on my website. It gives me the information I need quickly so I can respond fast and get your project moving.

14. Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and covers planning, scheduling, and preparation. The remaining balance is due on or before the session or event.

15. What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?

Rescheduling must be done at least 72 hours before the session.

Cancellations forfeit the deposit, but you can apply it to one future session if needed.

16. Do you offer prints or physical products?

Yes. I offer prints, wall art, and optional monthly print subscriptions. If you want something physical and long-lasting, I’ll guide you toward the best options.

17. What inspires your style?

My style is shaped by three things: people, storytelling, and honest emotion. Fujifilm color science adds texture and depth, but the real inspiration comes from capturing real moments—not staged perfection. I aim for timeless, cinematic imagery that still feels like you.

18. How do you help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Most clients arrive nervous and leave surprised by how natural it felt. I give clear direction when needed, but I also let moments flow so your personality comes through. My goal is to make the session feel relaxed, collaborative, and authentic.
